Much like many small businesses, WOM’s social enterprise, Atarrah Ghana Limited (AGL) was also victim to the challenges of COVID-19. While Atarrah was able to quickly adapt and start manufacturing hand sanitizers, sales dipped drastically in 2020.
The COVID-19 restrictions and protocols meant that, most of AGLs clients had closed down their shops and businesses.
However, with the support of Bailey Russel, two (2) women groups in the Kandiga and Dorungu Communities were supported with a Donkey and a cart each to reduce the drudgery associated in mobilising raw material.
