WOM’S TRIBUTE TO HER EXCELLENCY NANA KONADU AGYEMAN-RAWLINGS

The Widows and Orphans Movement (WOM) join the nation in mourning Her Excellency, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, former First Lady of the Republic of Ghana.

Her visionary leadership and tireless advocacy were instrumental in the passage of PNDC Law 111 (Intestate Succession Law). This landmark reform continues to protect widows and children from losing their inheritance after the death of a husband or father.
This law has safeguarded families for decades, upheld dignity, and ensured fairness for the most vulnerable.
